Einstein's at the Joe Crowley Student Union is just what you'd expect - bagels, a few sandwich varieties and several baked goods in a small bakery case. It is a pretty popular place during the school year, as who doesn't love a bagel and cream cheese while running off to your next class. I stopped in here today with a college to grab something to eat. She got a chili and I opted out as nothing was striking my fancy. Until I saw the beautiful display of travel mugs for $2.49, with coffee included! Seriously??! I even asked the guy at the counter if this was really the price. So for $2.49 (just about the same price as you'd pay downstairs at starbucks for a coffee in a disposable cup) you get coffee, a travel mug, and refills for only $0.99. AMAZING! The coffee wasn't the best I've ever had, but I tell ya what, the deal was! And the mug is BPA free - score!

I don't think I've ever had anything here that I don't like. Breakfast and lunch, alike.
For breakfast, I'm pretty obsessed with the jalapeno salsa cream cheese. It has the best flavor! Right now they have a cheddar jalapeno bagel, so I've been getting the double jalapeno combo for breakfast!
I really like the thin bagel sandwiches for lunch too - they have hot and cold sandwiches. I also appreciate that they list calories and offer lower calorie options.
Those of you who know me know that I have a strong distaste for Starbucks - but I really enjoy the coffee here at Einstein's.
The employees are students, and they are all super nice and friendly, even very early in the morning!
As far as on-campus options, this is definitely my go-to!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lindsey P.Reno, United States51994229 Jan 2016
This place is my favorite bagel place. I love getting the cheese pizza bagel with garlic herb cream cheese instead of sauce. Makes my mouth water thinking of it. Every bagel is so tasty yummy!!

There's nothing that brightens my day like a good bagel. Since Reno has not been blessed with a Noah's Bagels yet, I've had to search for the next best thing. I love the blueberry and asiago bagels, but the bagel sandwiches are just as good if you're looking for something with more substance! I've yet to have a bad bagel here. Not sure how accessible this is to the general public since it's at the university so you would have to pay for metered parking, but I think there's another Einsteins in Reno. 1 star off because they get my cream cheese wrong pretty often.

Just got a sourdough bagel with cream cheese. You would think it would be hard to mess up something so simple, but it was barely toasted, had almost no cream cheese, and the bagel was pretty tasteless. Not impressed.
